Join J SHOES in its first collaboration with Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD this Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 pm at Rosenberg Gallery in the MICA Brown Center.
Three weeks ago, students from the fiber department at MICA chose five shoes out of J SHOES’ collection of half pairs. Their project: Could a contemporary shoe be transformed into an entirely different object with an entirely different purpose?
Join us in viewing the artwork and discovering the top three winners. Judging will take place earlier in the day by a panel of top judges: the MICA Fiber Department chair, Style Magazine Baltimore editor, US J SHOES Marketing Manager and J SHOES representatives. The winners will be announced during the gallery opening that evening. Cash prizes awarded.
